Making a Reservation

1. To make a reservation for any of our day or multi-day trips, please call Colonial Pathways between 9:00 am - 4:00 pm, Monday thru Friday at (610) 388-2654, or (800) 421-2654.
2. Send a deposit by check or money order within 14 days to confirm your seat. We cannot guarantee to hold reservations not secured by deposit within 14 days of phone reservation.
3. Check your receipt for accuracy, and call us immediately if any of the information is incorrect. The balance due date and amount will be listed on the receipt. If you do not receive a receipt within one week of sending your deposit, please call to confirm we have received the payment! Generally, balances for trips are due one month prior to the departure date.
4. If a tour is sold out, you may place your name on a wait list, to be called if a passenger on the tour cancels.

Cancellations

All reservations must be confirmed with a deposit within 14 days of phone reservation.

All cancellations must be in writing and are subject to a minimum $5.00 processing fee*.

Refunds cannot be granted to anyone not participating in a particular segment of a tour.

DAY TOURS

FULL PAYMENT DUE 31 DAYS PRIOR TO TOUR DEPARTURE. Colonial Pathways reserves the right to cancel any reservations which have not been paid for in full 30 days prior to the tour. If it becomes necessary for Colonial Pathways to make such a cancellation, any deposit money already paid to Colonial Pathways is non refundable.

31 or more days prior to departure - Full refund will be issued* (See Show Trip exception below) 30 -15 days prior to departure - Cancellation fee of 50% of total tour fee plus nonrefundable fees paid to suppliers, such as restaurants, museums, etc. 14 - 0 days prior to departure - No refunds will be issued.

If you cancel a trip and find a substitute passenger for your reservation, the name change will be made without any penalty cost. If Colonial Pathways is able to find a substitute, you will receive a full refund minus the $5.00 processing fee.

SHOW TRIPS (such as Radio City or Broadway): NO REFUND ON THE TICKET PORTION of the tour unless you are able to find a substitute passenger. If Colonial Pathways finds a substitute for you, you will receive a refund minus the $5.00 processing fee.

Colonial Pathways Tours reserves the right to cancel a tour if there is an insufficient number of reservations 10 days prior to the tour or if numerous cancellations take place within 7 days of departure. No cancellations will be made within 5 days of the tour unless the weather is deemed too poor for travel by the bus company or Colonial Pathways Tours. If a tour is canceled by Colonial Pathways Tours, you will receive a refund in full.

MULTI-DAY TOURS

60 or more days prior to departure - Full refund will be issued* unless airline, cruise or train tickets have been purchased, in which case refund is based on the amount recovered from these suppliers 59-31 days prior to departure - Full refund will be issued* less nonrefundable fees already paid by Colonial Pathways on your behalf to suppliers, such as restaurants, hotels, museums, etc. 30-0 days prior to departure - Refunds will be issued based on the monies Colonial Pathways is able to recover on your behalf from suppliers. Cancellation will be subject to a minimum 10% administrative fee.

Cancellation insurance, including trip interruption insurance, is available.

Colonial Pathway Tours reserves the right to cancel (with full refund to you) any tour in its entirety up to 10 days prior to tour departure.

ITINERARY DEVIATIONS/CANCELLATIONS

Itinerary deviations and cancellations are not anticipated, but Colonial Pathways reserves the right to alter or cancel any tour if circumstances so require.

Colonial Pathways Tours, Inc; PO Box 879; Chadds Ford, PA 19317 and/or its agents act only as agents for the various companies and tour suppliers which comprise the itineraries. Colonial Pathways Tours assumes no responsibility nor liability in connection with the service of any tour sites, supplier, train, vessel, carriage, aircraft, motor coach or other conveyance which may be used either wholly or in part n the performance of its duty to the passenger, neither omission, or injury, loss, accident, delay or irregularity which may be occasioned by reason of any defect in any vehicle, omission by tour site supplier, or through neglect or default of any company or persons engaged in conveying the passenger, or for any hotel proprietor, or hotel service, or for any other person(s) engaged in carrying out the intended itinerary. In the event it becomes necessary or advisable for the comfort or well being of the passengers, to alter the itinerary or arrangements, such alterations may be made without penalty to the operators. Additional expenses, if any, shall be borne by the passengers; conversely, refunds will be made to the passengers if any savings is effected thereby. The right is reserved to withdraw any or all tours should conditions warrant, also to remove any passenger as a member of the tour who is considered disruptive to the fulfillment of the tour itself. In such instances full or equitable amounts will be refunded. Colonial Pathways accepts reservations from the disabled on our tours. Some sites, attractions, coaches and restaurants may not yet be fully accessible. We request notification by groups and/or individuals about any passenger's special needs to enable us to better answer questions about the accessibility of any particular portion of a tour itinerary. Colonial Pathways, Inc is not to be held liable for claims, actions, and suits because of any particular supplier (i.e., tour sites, restaurants, transportation companies, or any other supplier), which does not comply with the ADA.

Smoking and alcoholic beverages are not permitted on any motor coaches.

Call (610) 388-2654 if you must cancel a tour. The more notice you give us, the more likely it is we may be able to find a substitute for you!
