Before you book a tour with any company, ask them if they are bonded and licensed with the PUC. All tour operators conducting business in Pennsylvania are required to be licensed. If the company claims to be licensed, call the PUC to check it out. The extra time and effort now could save you money and disappointment later! Colonial Pathways Tours is one of a very few licensed, bonded tour operators in the southeastern Pennsylvania area. Don't risk traveling with someone who isn't legally licensed or insured!

All Colonial Pathways excursions are conducted by trained experienced tour coordinators whose highest priority is your enjoyment of the trip. We carefully select these escorts and are extremely proud of the job they do. Many motor coach companies do not send an escort but rather expect their drivers to conduct their tours. We, on the other hand, believe the driver needs to concentrate on driving.

Colonial Pathways does not reserve seats on motor coaches. Seating is on a first-come, first- served basis on the day of departure. Once seated, passengers are asked to keep that seat for the entire day of touring. On multi-day tours, passengers in the front seat are asked to take another seat so that several people have the opportunity to sit in front during the trip. Accommodation may be made for disabled passengers, although we cannot guarantee the front seat to anyone at any time.
